Guardian Angels

The Guardian Angels are mostly retirees who ride.  We meet at the Dutch Way on US 422 in Myerstown, just east of the 422/501 junction.  Except for the longer rides, we leave at 9 AM to ride the back roads of Pennsylvania, usually finding a place for lunch.  Whoever leads that day has something planned out.  Sometimes, the plan is made on the spot.

On October 13, 2009 we took a ride to the Grand Canyon of PA which is just west of Wellsboro.  The cold front moving in was visible from the outlook, and we managed to escape to sunshine on the way home.  Good thing, because two days later, this area had half a foot of snow!

In June 2011, we lost one of our own, Harold "Butch" Weidman.  The Patriot Guard and the Guardian Angels participated in the Memorial Services - click here for his page.
